Bird Seed Moths are really just ‘meal moths’. They’ll eat just about anything with any sort of grain or seed. These Bird Seed Moth Traps are a great tool to catch these little critters before they end up all over the house, barn or store. Cheap and easy to use.
John’s Tip: As with all lured traps, they not only catch moths but work well as a monitoring device to help you watch for a problem and catch it before it gets out of hand. The best way to prevent a problem with moths in your bird seed is to buy the freshest seed possible, don’t store it in the house and use it within a month – sooner if possible. You can also freeze the seed, which will kill off about anything that may be lurking within. – Happy Moth Hunting!
