Birds like balconies and covered porches. Especially if it’s an area that isn’t frequented by humans…or cats…very much. And, or course, they make a mess just about anywhere they hang out so maybe this arrangement doesn’t work as well for you. That’s where the Bird X balcony Gard comes in. It works on several species of birds, is relatively inexpensive and is easy to install.
John’s Tip: As usual, I recommend using the Balcony Gard along with a few different types of light and movement. Installing flash tap and Scare Eye Diverters at the same time as the Balcony Gard will increase your odds of success ten fold. Make sure the birds don’t have any ‘comfort zones’. Also: the ultrasonic sound made by the Balcony Gard (and any other ultrasonic device) will not penetrate the stuff on the balcony or porch. So there could be ‘shadows’ on the other side of walls, furniture, etc. Think of the sound as sunlight and look for where the ‘shadows’ would be. Make sure you use the other devices or another Balcony Gard to handle those areas. As always – Happy Hunting!
